Laura Petersen joins ORBA Cloud CFO Services as an accounting manager. She specializes in budgeting, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting. Laura is also skilled in handling audits, reviewing cost allocations and revenue recognition, and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Laura is thorough and diligent in all matters, ensuring that all transactions are completed accurately and promptly. She continuously identifies opportunities to improve internal processes and procedures while keeping up to date with changing regulations to ensure compliance. Laura has improved the productivity of internal departments by streamlining reporting processes and automating accounting functions.
Outside of the office, Laura enjoys trying new recipes, tackling DIY projects and spending time with her family. She frequently volunteers at local animal rescues, fostering and transporting pets to the centers until they find their forever homes
